- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 3 tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Stir together the sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt.
Gradually add the milk.
Microwave on high 7-10 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, until it comes to a full boil. ** Important — boiling in the microwave is dangerous. Stir carefully and do not skip the step to stir every two minutes.
Stir in the butter and vanilla.
Cool and serve.
