- 2 cups flour
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon baking powder *
- 1 teaspoon baking soda *
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter **

Mix everything together and then cook.

If you can, cook them in cast iron. If not — just cook like regular pancakes or waffles.
* yes — use both! ** I ran out of butter the other day and used 1/4 cup of regular oil and couldn’t taste the difference. Since oil is cheaper…you can use that!
